Blackton Grange Wedding Barn
Blackton Grange brings a fresh vision to modern, unique weddings — a completely different approach for couples looking to escape the norm, set in the stunning North Pennines. The concept is natural luxury, embodying freedom and personality, so no two weddings or celebrations are ever the same. Fully licensed to hold wedding ceremonies in its beautiful Celebration Barn and farmhouse, Blackton Grange offers a fairy-tale wedding that’s completely personal to you.
Wedding & Celebration Cakes
Coghlans’ team of highly skilled bakers and patissiers create wonderful, stylish celebration cakes for every occasion — from birthdays, anniversaries and weddings to corporate centrepieces and exhibition pieces.
Having trained with some of the finest tutors, our bakers can create any shape, size or style of cake you’re looking for.
Our cakes have been made for celebrities, brides and anniversary couples alike — each one crafted with the same care and attention to detail. Coghlans has even been invited to produce celebrity birthday cakes for service at the Savoy in London, for up to 400 guests.
Every cake starts with a planning meeting at our Bakery at Barningham, where we look at designs and ideas, scale, flavours and finishes. Once the design and costs are agreed, you’ll enjoy a full tasting to confirm your flavours — which can still be adjusted at this stage. Finally, your cake is created and can be delivered to your venue (subject to a small delivery fee).
